Unlike traditional stranded cotton, which offers a glossy, smooth finish, wool/acrylic threads create a soft, matte texture that gives your stitching a more voluminous, almost 3D look. This extra depth not only enhances the visual appeal of your work but also helps to mask small imperfections, ensuring a beautiful final result even for less experienced stitchers.
These threads provide excellent coverage, especially on fabrics with a lower thread count (11-count and below), making them ideal for children, beginners, or those with reduced eyesight who want to enjoy the art of cross-stitch without strain.
